(Aledo, TX) – Parker County authorities have arrested two people in connection with a string of vehicle burglaries in the Aledo area.

David Roy Jackson and Chelsea Lynn Applewhite, both from Crowley, face multiple charges including fraud with credit cards stolen from the vehicles.  According to the Parker County Sheriff’s Office, the break-ins took place from the end of January thru the first part of February with the pair often hitting three or four vehicles a day in different neighborhoods.  Investigators say a couple of houses were also broken into because Jackson would find garage door openers left in the unlocked cars.

They estimate as many as 25 total vehicles were hit, all were left unlocked.  Sheriff’s investigators recovered at least $30,000 worth of stolen items in the possession of the suspects.

The Sheriff’s Department is urging residents to keep their car doors locked at all times.
