(Undated)  —  The basketball teams from a pair of Texas universities are in the NCAA Tournament’s Sweet 16 later this week.

On Thursday, Texas Tech battles Michigan as West Region action gets underway in Anaheim.  On Friday in Kansas City, the University of Houston faces Kentucky in the Midwest Region.  The Sweet 16 will take place Thursday and Friday at four regional sites across the country.
