(Fort Worth, TX) — One of the largest firearm parts and accessories retailers in the nation is no longer in the business of selling bump stocks.
Fort Worth-based RW Arms says it turned over its entire inventory of about 60-thousand bump stocks to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives on Tuesday. They were transferred to a local recycling facility to be shredded. The Justice Department banned the stocks on orders from President Donald Trump.
Bump stocks make semiautomatic weapons fire almost as fast as fully-automatic.
