Arlington Cop And Truck Driver Help Save Suicidal Teen

(Arlington, TX) — An Arlington police officer and a passing truck driver are being credited with saving the life of a suicidal teen.

Yesterday morning, a teenage boy was standing on the Kelly Elliot Bridge above I-20. But Corporal Deric Sheriff got Dwayne Crawford to position his big rig under the bridge, just in time to break the boy’s fall. Cpl. Sheriff’s bodycam was rolling while he got the semi into position.
