(Weatherford, Tx) – The Weatherford City Council has approved a zoning change that could soon bring a new country music dance hall to town.

The property sits at the corner of Tin Top Road and I-20 in Weatherford.  According to the Weatherford Democrat, the dance hall will be called “Old School Texas”.  The owner Bryon Evans also owns a club by the same name on the Jacksboro Highway in Fort Worth.  Projected opening for Old School Texas in Mid-May.

If other requirements are met, Evans has plans to also open a piano bar and a beach club next door to the dance hall next Fall.
