(Cleburne, Tx) – The search is on for a new Athletic Director at Cleburne ISD after the current AD, Mark Walker, says he’s stepping down after the end of the school year.

The Cleburne Times Review reports Walker sent a resignation letter to the district administration on Monday saying, “I have reached a crossroads in my professional career, and personally, and I believe it is time for new challenges”.  Before coming to Cleburne in 2015, Walker served as the Assistant AD at Mansfield ISD.

During his four year tenure, Cleburne voters passed a bond package to upgrade and build new athletic facilities in the district.  Walker’s last day on the job is June 20th.
