(Fort Worth, TX) — A Fort Worth firearms dealer is suing the federal government over the bump stock ban.
RW Arms says their 5th Amendment rights are being violated because they had to destroy over 72-thousand bump stocks to comply with the new regulations. The 5th Amendment says private property shall not be taken without due process. RW Arms says the government was able to ban bump stocks without passing regulation.
Bump stocks increase the fire rates of semi-automatic rifles. They were officially banned last month.
