(Runnemede, NJ) — John F. Kennedy’s last known autograph is hitting the auction block.
Goldin Auctions of New Jersey says JFK signed the autograph before boarding Air Force One at Carswell Air Force Base in Fort Worth, on the day he was assassinated in 1963. The signature is in red ink on a small spiral notepad. Black-and-white footage reportedly shows Kennedy signing the autograph just two hours before he was shot.
Goldin Auctions expects to fetch 100-thousand dollars for the signature with opening bids starting at 25-thousand dollars. The auction begins Monday, April 15th and runs through May 11th.
