
(Undated) — Several people are dead in Texas as a result of severe weather over the weekend.
The Angelina County Sheriff’s Office said a three-year-old and an eight-year-old died on Saturday when a tree fell on their family’s car after a tornado touched down in Franklin. The National Weather Service says the twister was an EF-3. Injured residents were being treated at the Methodist church in Franklin.
Elsewhere in East Texas, Cherokee and Houston Counties are reporting one storm-related death each.
