(Fort Worth, TX) — St. Patrick Cathedral in downtown Fort Worth is focusing on security with the arrival of Easter weekend.
The Diocese of Fort Worth more than a year ago put into effect a plan for enhanced security to ward off potential acts of violence. On Wednesday of this week, a suspect was arrested after trying to enter St. Patrick Cathedral in New York City carrying cans of gasoline, lighter fluid, and lighters.
On Monday, Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris was heavily damaged by a fire that investigators believe it was an accident caused by an electrical short.
