Dallas-Fort Worth Leads Nation For Growth In 2018

(Dallas, TX) — Dallas-Fort Worth is leading the nation for growth in 2018.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the DFW region gained more than 131-thousand people in 2018, more than any other metropolitan area in the country. The number is driven by domestic and international migration and natural increase of more births than deaths. The Texas Tribune reports the growth for the entire state has slowed since 2015, when Texas grew by more than 500-thousand people in a year.
