Dirk Thanks Mavs Fans With Ad In Paper

(Dallas, TX) — Dirk Nowitzki is thanking his longtime fans with a newspaper ad.

The “Big German” retired this month after playing 21 seasons for the Mavericks, the only NBA franchise he ever played for. He took out a full-page ad in Sunday’s Dallas Morning News to thank the people of Dallas and Mavs fans everywhere. The brief message concluded by saying Dirk was “forever yours, and forever a Dallas Maverick.”
