Bernie Sanders Campaigns In Fort Worth

(Fort Worth, TX) — Senator Bernie Sanders is on the campaign trail for the White House again, and it led him through Fort Worth on Thursday.

Sanders held a rally in Cowtown’s Burnett Park where a couple hundred people were waiting in line for the event to begin at 10:30am. The 77 year old Senator is making his second bid for the Democratic nomination, even though he’s an independent. At his Thursday rally, Sanders referred to President Donald Trump as a liar who can be defeated in 2020. He also repeated his claim that every U.S. citizen, even violent felons in prison, should be allowed to vote.
