(Fort Worth, Tx) – A Tarrant County Sheriff’s Deputy was injured overnight when a suspected drunk driver plowed into her squad car on the Jacksboro Highway.

The Sheriff’s Office says the Deputy was running radar near Nine Mile Bridge Road around 3:30 Friday morning when it happened.  WFAA TV reported that the Deputy had neck injuries and that the driver of the vehicle that hit her was also hospitalized with minor injuries.

Both Azle and Fort Worth Police are investigating the crash.
