Authorities Warn Fake Money Is Circulating around the West-O-Plex

(Weatherford, TX) — Some fake folding money is reportedly being passed around in a couple of North Texas counties.

The Parker County Sheriff’s Office is warning about the phony bills that are turning up at businesses in Parker and Palo Pinto Counties. The fake fives, tens, twenties, fifties, and hundreds are evidently movie-prop money, because they have the words “for motion picture purposes” printed on them as part of the design.

But they look so real, employees have taken the fake bills without noticing until it was too late.
