Corsicana ISD Teacher Faces More Counts Of Child Sex Abuse

(Corsicana, TX) — An elementary school teacher in Corsicana now faces a dozen charges of indecency with a child, and is out of a job as well.

The Corsicana ISD school board voted unanimously Thursday to fire 48-year-old Ramon Mendoza. Mendoza taught third grade at Sam Houston Elementary School. After a couple of students complained that Mendoza had touched them inappropriately, he was put on administrative leave last month.

He was arrested last week on six counts and was arrested again on Tuesday on six additional counts.
