(Fort Worth, Tx) – New historical markers are in the works for sites around North Texas.

The Erath County Historical Commission recently announced at their spring meeting that the community of Bluff Dale and Historic Shapard Street in Stephenville have been selected to receive historical markers from the Texas Historical Commission.  In Parker County, 3 cemeteries will be granted historical status.

In Tarrant County Daggett’s Crossing and Kennedale First United Methodist Church are among 7 sites getting a marker.  Also getting a historical marker – the old U.S. Post Office and the Bridgeport Schools in Wise County. The plaques will be put up later this year.
