Denton HS Assistant Principal Resigns Following Racial Slur Recording

(Denton, TX) —  A Denton High School assistant principal is resigning following a recording showing him use a racial slur.

A Denton ISD spokesperson tells Denton Record-Chronicle the decision by Howard Palmer was made this week before a school board meeting.  The district started investigating Palmer after a parent posted a video online of him using the racial slur to describe rap music, then defending the term.
