Tarrant County Named Most At Risk For Measles Outbreaks

(Tarrant County, TX) — Tarrant County is one place most at risk for a measles outbreak.

According to research from the University of Texas at Austin and John Hopkins University, areas near international airports are most at risk. Tarrant County was named as one of the top 25 places in the U.S. at risk, along with Travis County, Honolulu, Hawaii, Salt Lake City, Utah and multiple counties in Florida.

According to researchers, more than 700 confirmed measles cases in 22 states were reported this year.
