(Weatherford, Tx) – Weatherford Police are taking another look at a 32-year-old murder case involving a teenage girl from Willow Park.

On July 8, 1987, 19-year-old Wendy Kae Robinson was last seen sunbathing at an area of Lake Weatherford known as “The Wall”.  The next day, she was reported missing by her father, then four days later her body was found near the gate of a ranch in Aledo.  In 2016 an arrest was made followed by the 2018 capital murder conviction of Ricky Lee Adkins.  However, investigators believe Adkins wasn’t the only person involved in the crime.

Sunday night the case was featured on the Investigation Discovery Channel show, “On the Case with Paula Zahn”.  Weatherford Police are hoping the TV show will bring some new information forward.
