(Red Oak, TX) — A lockdown at a North Texas elementary is being blamed on a child who took his father’s spare gun magazines to school.
Red Oak police say a man called them Tuesday afternoon to let them know the magazines and eight rounds were missing. The items had been found Tuesday morning in a bathroom at Life School Elementary. The campus was on lockdown while several agencies investigated the discovery.
It’s not believed a gun was brought to the school.
