Arlington Cop Fired After Fatal Shooting During Traffic Stop

(Arlington, TX) — An Arlington police officer is out of a job for a fatal shooting that happened last September.

Officer Bau Tran fired several shots into O’Shae Terry’s SUV as Terry tried to drive away from a traffic stop. The Arlington Police Department says an internal investigation showed that Tran violated city and department administrative policies. Tran also faces a charge of criminally negligent homicide.
