Mansfield Student In Hospital After Being Stabbed With Scissors

(Mansfield, TX) — A student at Worley Middle School in Mansfield is in the hospital after another student stabbed her in the face with scissors.

The Mansfield ISD reports the attack happened Monday in the school cafeteria. A relative says a 15-year-old boy stabbed a 13-year-old girl and cut an artery, resulting in a life-threatening injury. The Mansfield Police Department says the case is being investigated by the school district police, who took the teen suspect into custody.
