(Fort Worth, Tx) – Fort Worth Police now say it was a suspected drunk driver that slammed into two of their officers late Monday night.

The officers were working the scene of an earlier accident on I-35W at Berry Street when Police say 69-year-old Theodore Franklin crashed into the two patrol cars.  Two officers and Franklin were injured and taken to the hospital.

Franklin has since been released from the hospital and charged with Suspicion of DWI.  He’s currently being held at the Tarrant County jail on a $500 bond.
