(Saginaw, TX) – At least one tornado hit part of North Texas during Wednesday’s severe storms.
The National Weather Service in Fort Worth confirmed this morning that an EF-1 tornado touched down in the Heritage Trace neighborhood, with 90 mph winds and a path almost a half mile long.
DFW Scanner reports a spotter saw blown down signs and power lines in Saginaw. The NWS has not yet confirmed if a twister hit Saginaw. More than 8,000 people were left without power in parts of Azle, Saginaw and River Oaks, after storms rolled through Wednesday afternoon.
