(Undated) — A fake Buc-ee’s location is being reported on the other side of the world.
News writer, Maurice Chammah, says he spotted the familiar beaver sign in the Middle East, on a highway north of the Jordanian capital city of Amman. It came as a surprise to Buc-ee’s co-owner Arch “Beaver” Aplin the Third, who says it’s “unbelievable.”
The Lake Jackson convenience store chain has dozens of locations, and the only one that’s not in Texas is no further east than Alabama.
Fellow Texans:
I was driving on a highway north of Amman, Jordan, and found a…Buc-ee's. Or at least, a place claiming to be Buc-ee's.
I have so many questions.
