(Fort Worth, TX) — A teacher in Fort Worth is out of a job over a tweet she sent that was critical of illegal immigration.

In a hearing on Tuesday, the school board voted unanimously to fire Carter-Riverside High School English teacher Georgia Clark.  The district investigated Clark after she sent a tweet under an assumed name to President Trump, asking if he could do anything to “remove illegals from Fort Worth.” Clark said she thought her messages were going straight to the President, not the public.

Prior to the vote, the board heard from parents who asked the district to fire Clark.
