(College Station, TX) – On what would have been George HW Bush’s 95 birthday, a postage stamp honoring the former President was unveiled Wednesday at a ceremony in College Station.
The 41st president, who lived in Houston in his later years, died last year at age 94. He’s buried at the family gravesite at his presidential library in College Station. The stamp features a portrait of Mr. Bush based on a 1997 photo.
The stamp is priced at 55 cents, but it’s a Forever stamp that can be used from now on.
