(Arlington, TX) — Globe Life Field in Arlington, the Texas Rangers’ new home field, is reportedly about two-thirds complete.
The first section of the ballpark’s retractable roof will be put into place next week, along with the roof’s motors. Construction of the roof should be finished by the end of the year. About 13-hundred workers are on the job every day. Much of the concrete and steel work is done, as well as more than half of the drywall.
Globe Life Field is scheduled to open next March and seat more than 40,000 fans.
