Crystal Lagoon Opens In Prosper After Two Years Of Planning

(Prosper, TX) — North Texas is now home to a five-acre blue lagoon.

The new Crystal Lagoon opened this weekend at Windsong Ranch in Denton County. Developers of the two-thousand-acre Windsong Ranch hope the water feature will mean more home sales in the five-year-old project on Highway 380 in Prosper.

The quarter mile long, 10-million-gallon freshwater lagoon is about ten feet at its deepest and is surrounded by acres of sandy beaches, a boardwalk, pavilions and lawn areas with artificial turf.
