(Parker County, Tx) – A damaged gate valve was the cause of a multi-day water outage this week for folks in the Horseshoe Bend area.

The Weatherford Democrat reports county officials have been bringing in both non-potable and drinkable water for the residents until the system, operated by Texas Rain can be repaired.

The TCEQ says they are monitoring the water quality situation and working with Texas Rain to get the water supply restored, however they haven’t been given an exact date of when that will happen.
