(Fort Worth, TX) —  A World War II veteran now has a new roof on his house, courtesy of a Fort Worth company.

Lon Smith Roofing has a program called Roofs for Vets, under which they install several new roofs a year for local vets who can’t afford it.  Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price was on hand on Monday as workers put the new roof on the home of Raymond Barton.

The 95-year-old Marine veteran served the Corps in the Pacific during World War II.
