(Fort Worth, Tx) – If you live, work or hangout around the 7th Street Entertainment District in Fort Worth, you may encounter some traffic problems this week.
The City of Fort Worth to shut down West Seventh Street from today through Thursday, June 25th-27th for roadway improvements in the railroad right of way. The work includes replacing old track, railroad ties, and roadway panels. The crossing will be leveled and roadway approaches redone. All vehicles will have to detour to Lancaster Avenue during the closure. Once crews complete the approaches later this week, the road will reopen for traffic.
The City says the project was funded out of the 2018 Bond Program.
