Former Cowboys Brent Arrested

(Coppell, TX) — Coppell police said former Cowboys defensive tackle Josh Brent was arrested in a Wendy’s parking lot and accused of resisting arrest and public intoxication.

Police said Brent became uncooperative and resisted attempts to handcuff him. A video showed Brent trying to run from officers before being subdued after police used a taser on him. He was convicted of intoxication manslaughter in the death of teammate Josh Brown in December 2012.
