Missing North Texas Toddler Found Dead

(Denton, TX) — A North Texas toddler was found dead, a day after being reported missing from his home.

Denton police say the body of Sarbesh Gurung was discovered inside a vehicle around 6am Wednesday morning near his family’s apartment. The 2-year-old disappeared Tuesday afternoon, his mother told officers she thought he was down for a nap but must have wandered away. Police also say the mother had to be hospitalized after having a panic attack.

Investigators found no obvious signs of trauma on the boy. They believe it was a horrible tragedy but are continuing to investigate how the child ended up in the neighbor’s SUV.
