(Keene, Tx) – The City of Keene has chosen Mike Peacock to become their new City Manager.

Peacock will be leaving one Johnson County community for another.  He’s currently the Assistant City Manager in Joshua where he’s worked since 2008.  Peacock replaces Keene’s former City Manager, Brian LaBorde, who resigned in June for a job in another Texas city.  Peacock takes over the post in Keene early next month.
