Police Update Charges Against Former Cowboys RB McFadden

(McKinney, TX) — McKinney police are updating the charges against former Dallas Cowboys running back Darren McFadden.

At the time of his arrest in January, the 31-year-old McFadden was charged with DWI and resisting arrest. Officers arrested him at a Whataburger in McKinney, where he reportedly was asleep at the wheel in the drive-thru lane. Officials now say McFadden’s blood alcohol level was more than point-15, almost twice the legal limit of point-zero-eight.

McFadden’s first court appearance will be in October.
