Keller Man Thanks Southlake Officers Who Saved His Life Last Year

(Southlake, TX) — A North Texas man is thanking Southlake emergency personnel for saving his life last year.

Brent McCartney of Keller was 46 when he suffered a heart attack while driving on State Highway 114 near Highway 26. After he crashed into the median, several Southlake police officers pulled McCartney out of his car and performed CPR until paramedics arrived.

On Tuesday, McCartney went to Southlake police headquarters to thank Cpl. Preston Logan, Sgt. Gaylon Music, and Sgt. Tyler Sewell for their help.
