(Oxnard, CA)  —  While the Cowboys are training in Oxnard, California, star running back and hold out Ezekiel Elliott went to Mexico to train.

Multiple-reports say Elliott will workout in Cabo San Lucas.  Elliott spent a majority of his six-game 2017 suspension in Cabo.  There is an August 6th deadline for Elliott to show up in camp to accrue a season toward free agency.

Monday the Cowboys signed free agent running back Alfred Morris, to a one year deal.  Morris filled in for Elliott during his 2017 6 game suspension.

Elliott is scheduled to make 3.8-million-dollars this fall.  The 24-year-old has led the NFL in rushing yards in two of the past three seasons and has been a star for Dallas since being drafted fourth overall in 2016.
