(Joshua, Tx) – A 50-year-old Fort Worth man says he was tricked and robbed of $1,000 cash at a Joshua car wash.
According to the Cleburne Times Review, the man flagged down officers about 1 a.m. Tuesday to report that three people had just robbed him. The victim described the suspects as two women in their early to mid-20s’s and a man who had covered his face with a bandanna. He reportedly told police the two women convinced him to go to the car wash to drink beer and when they got there, a man walked up with what he believed to be a gun in a bag. There was a scuffle before the suspects made off with the cash.
The suspects fled north on Broadway Street, the man was driving a small dark colored car and the women in a white jeep. No arrests have been made.
