(Granbury, TX) — Classes are underway in Granbury ISD for the first school year in which staff members may be armed.
Signs posted around the district’s schools warn potential troublemakers of the presence of teachers and staff with guns. Superintendent Jeremy Glenn says they send the message that the campuses aren’t “soft targets.”
Granbury ISD is one of about a third of Texas school districts that are allowing staff to carry firearms.
