(Arlington, TX) — The Arlington ISD Board of Trustees is calling for a bond issue of nearly a billion-dollars to be on the city ballot in the November elections.
The board voted unanimously on Tuesday to approve the proposal. The district says the 966-million-dollar bond package would follow up a 2014 bond issue that addressed facilities, fine arts, safety and security, transportation and technology. The new bond would also fund upgrades at each of the district’s campuses.
The bond will be on the November 5th ballot.
