Fort Worth Police Fatally Shoot Person Of Interest

(Fort Worth, TX) — The Fort Worth PD is reporting an officer-involved fatal shooting of a person of interest in a recent murder case.

The shooting happened late Wednesday afternoon on Boca Raton Boulevard near Greenspoint Drive. The officers were interested in talking with the man about a murder that happened earlier this month. He ran away from them, but later pulled a handgun, and officers opened fire.

The man later died at a hospital.
