Gov. Abbott Is Making Sexting A Crime

(Austin, TX) — Beginning next month “sexting” will be a crime.

Governor Greg Abbott announced his signing of a bill that will make it illegal to send unwanted sexually explicit photos through social media or text. Anyone caught doing it will be charged with a misdemeanor and a fine of up to $500.
