(Cleburne, Tx) – A Cleburne woman jailed on arson charges, could go to trial next month.

Ruth Bullard, who’s 44, is facing charges of arson and abandoning/endangering children for allegedly setting her Cleburne home on fire, while her mother and three of her children were asleep inside.  They all escaped the house without injury.

According to the Cleburne Times Review, Bullard appeared in court last week where the judge set a trial date for some time in late September.  The February 25th incident remains under investigation by the Texas Fire Marshal’s Office.

She remains in the Johnson County Jail with bail set at $85,000.  Bullard’s three minor children will stay in foster care at least until December.
