Rangers' New Ballpark 75-Percent Complete

(Arlington, TX) — The new Texas Rangers ballpark is now about 75-percent complete.

The team announced Wednesday the latest estimate from construction crews working on Globe Life Field in Arlington. The new venue is going up right across the street from Globe Life Park and the Texas Live entertainment venue. Crews are installing the ballpark’s retractable roof right now. The first game in Globe Life Field will be an exhibition game against the St. Louis Cardinals on March 23rd, 2020.

The home opener will be March 31st against the L-A Angels.
