Delays And Cancellations At DFW Because Of Dorian

(Dallas, TX) — Travelers at DFW Airport are being affected by flight cancellations because of Hurricane Dorian.

American Airlines kept its passengers updated, noting travel alerts at 20 airports, including eight coastal airports in Georgia and the Carolinas. Around midday Tuesday, American resumed flights from Fort Lauderdale and from Nassau in The Bahamas. Flights were grounded from other airports in the Bahamas, as well as from Orlando.

The Fort Worth-based carrier is allowing customers to rebook flights without change fees.
