(Fort Worth, TX)  —  Police are trying to figure out why an Everman ISD school bus ran off the road and hit a tree on Wednesday, sending four people to the hospital.

The crash happened shortly after 5 p.m. on Sheridan Road near I-35 W in South Fort Worth.  There were 15 students on the bus at the time of the accident.

Three of the kids and the bus driver were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
