(Johnson County, Tx) – A former Joshua Police Officer has plead guilty to driving while intoxicated, stemming from a December arrest.

The Cleburne Times Review reports Burleson Police found Cynthia Huggins, asleep in the driver’s seat of a car that was left running on a grassy median between a gas station parking lot and South Burleson Blvd.  An employee called police after noticing that the car had been parked in the grass from 3 to 5am that morning.  Police said when they woke the woman up, she didn’t now where she was and appeared to be intoxicated.

Following an internal investigation after her arrest, Huggins was reassigned to a non-law enforcement position within the Joshua Police Department.
