(Fort Worth, TX) — The Fort Worth ISD won’t be re-hiring a high school teacher who grumbled about illegal immigrants on social media.
In a specially called meeting on Tuesday, the school board voted unanimously to fire Carter-Riverside High School teacher Georgia Clark. She had been on paid administrative leave ever since she tweeted President Donald Trump several months ago asking him to do something about the illegals, she felt were overrunning the school district. Clark said she thought the tweets were private messages, not public.
The board ignored the recommendation of an investigation by the Texas Education Agency that said Clark shouldn’t be fired.
